West Coast Jewish Business Leaders Gather to Learn About Israel Elwyn

December 2015

L-r: David Marcu, CEO of Israel Elwyn; David Jacobs, attendee; Jim Felton, IE Board member

On the morning of December 4 more than 50 local Jewish entrepreneurs, professionals, and business leaders gathered at the El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana, California to hear a presentation by David Marcu, the organization's CEO. Jim Felton, IE Board member and a leader of the Jewish Business Leaders Roundtable (JBL), invited David to be the featured speaker.  David presented the IE film and a full description of Israel Elwyn’s extensive programs, and then taught a portion from Talmud that is a basis for Israel Elwyn's work advocating for the inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of Jewish and community life.  David was greeted with great interest and insightful questions. We look forward to further interaction with this group and once again thank Jim Felton for making it possible.

We've just put our Facebook page up, to provide you with some of the latest news on what's happening at Israel Elwyn throughout Israel.  Please also invite your friends to like our page!  Thanks!
