OUR SERVICES INCLUDE Early Intervention Centers and Preschool Centers that provide comprehensive rehabilitation and education services to children ages 1-6. The children at the Dvora Agmon Preschool have normal intellectual functioning but with a variety of neurological impairments, whereas the preschool programs at Elwyn El Quds and in Haifa serve children with developmental disabilities. EDUCATION SERVICES offered at Elwyn El Quds and Haifa Elwyn enable children with severe impairments to experience a full special education program and afternoon enrichment activities.

WORK ACTIVITIES CENTERS provide basic work opportunities in the occupational training center or supported work in the community. Although work is the primary focus of the program, adult education, support services and therapies are also provided. In conjunction with a local hospital, the center also provides job training for adults with autism.

ADULT DEVELOPMENT CENTERS focus on independence and work skills in prevocational programs for adults with severe and profound developmental disabilities. Physical, occupational and speech therapies are among the additional supportive services offered [Elwyn - Activities]
[Elwyn - Activities] THE SMALL BUSINESS UNIT set up a direct mail service, laundry and food supply divisions that provide employment for people with developmental disabilities. Our goal is to develop additional small businesses and to create more jobs for adults with developmental disabilities.

SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT SERVICES encompass job development, coaching and supervision to help adults maintain numerous jobs in the community, including employment in hotels, factories, bakeries, restaurants and government facilities such as the the Supreme Court, the Knesset and Yad Vashem, the Haifa zoo and dozens of private workplaces.



JOB PLACEMENT and VOCATIONAL TRAINING provides job placement and on-the-job training in competetive jobs for individuals who have mild developmental disabilities, mental illness and brain injury, as well as disabled veterans or adults with socioeconomic disadvantages.

RESIDENTIAL SERVICES at the Zvi Quittman Residential Center provide a home for 235 children and adults with developmental disabilities, most of whom have either psychiatric, physical or serious health complications, and who are in need of total support.

TRANSITIONAL EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS provide special education students, ages 18-21, with both classroom instruction and a wide range of job experiences in the community and at Israel Elwyn centers.

SUPPORTED GROUP HOMES are available in Jerusalem and Herzliya for more than 48 adults and teenagers who can live more independently. Services offered to all residents include occupational, physical, speech and recreation therapies, health and dental services. [Elwyn - Activities]
